Malaysian singer-songwriter, Penny Tai Pei Nee gains acclaimed victory, winning double major awards - Best Female Singer and Best Producer from the prestigious Taiwan Golden Melody Awards, making her the first Malaysian to do so.

Hailed from Johor Bahru and currently based In Taipei, Penny Tai was signed by top Taiwan producer, Eric Chan and has been producing her own brand of rock / folk/ pop music for the past 12 years with critical acclaim. She won the Best Female Vocals Award from her latest album, Unexpected and Best Producer Award for the album of newcomer from China, Kaola Liu which is also the first time or Penny as a full album Producer. Managed by The WonderLand+ in Malaysia, Penny never fails to give support to local music.
